This could be your family's best vacation ever!
Thank you so much for your hospitality and generosity to our family. This time was truly a gift from God. Thanks for letting Him use you!
We enjoyed. . .
-Going for swims in the spring-fed stream
-Horseback riding at Brushy Creek (excellent!)
-Catching little lizards, tree frogs, and turtles and making them our pets
for the week and then letting them return to the forest.
-Searching for treasures in antique shops throughout Arcadia Valley.
-Eating ice cream at Pilot Knob (the best!)
-Swimming and playing on the rocks at Johnson Shut-Ins.
-Hiking the trails & climbing the rocks at Elephant Rock.
-Playing board & card games together in the evenings.
-Watching movies, eating popcorn and staying up late
-Getting to know you! Thanks for the sampling of your delicious ground beef and the enjoyable
conversation!

* Take 55 south (Memphis) out of St Louis to Hy 67 which is exit 174B (don't take business 67). Take 67 south to 32 going west (there will be a Gas station there-fill up your car).
*Go 19 miles to the end which is Caledonia.
*Turn LEFT, go thru Caledonia 4 miles to where 32 turns to the RIGHT (there will be a school on the right).
*Go 7 miles to Junction A
*Turn LEFT at A and follow it 8 miles to the end. (This will be quite curvy and hilly).
*At the end turn RIGHT on 49.
*Go 3 miles up to a gravel road which is County Road 66.
*Turn a hard LEFT onto the road and follow it till it Y's.
*Go RIGHT at the Y. 1/2 mile down, we are the first mailbox.
*Check in here. Koinania Cottage is next house down.
From Kansas City, Columbia Area: Print
*Take 44 to the Cuba exit
*Go South on 19 to 49
*At Cherryville, take 49 South through Viburnum,
(Last gas and grocery stores before our place).
*Continue on 49 South, (at Bixby 32/49 turn LEFT)
*On 49 go about 6 miles or so to 49 South.
*Turn RIGHT towards Lesterville but go only 6 miles (set your odometer to watch for 6 miles)
*You will come to a dirt road on your RIGHT, this is County Road 66. (NOT 69) There is a Steep Grade sign at the road entrance.
*Turn RIGHT, follow it till it Y's.
*Go RIGHT at the Y. 1/2 mile down, we are the first mailbox.
From Branson, Springfield: Print
* 44 to 1st exit at Rolla
* Take 72 to Salem
* At 32/72 go left through Salem
* Go past Bixby until you turn Right onto 49 towards Lesterville
* Watch your odometer and go 5 or 6 miles to County Road 66 (not 69).
* The road is at a Steep Grade sign.
* Follow it to the bottom and go towards the right at the Y
